Blood Labs: A Far More Comprehensive Look at Your Health
April 3, 2020
I read an article recently about a clinic that was actually reprimanded by an insurance company for ordering bloodwork on their patients. The wellness clinic, similar to Chattanooga Integrated Medicine Center and Ocoee Wellness Center, was admonished, not for some negligent act, no. They were criticized for ordering blood labs on their patients because they were not a hospital, MD office, or walk-in clinic.
This is a real surprise because the whole point of taking care of patients well is to be able to evaluate every aspect of their health to get to the bottom of what ails them. This is why at CIMC, we practice complete wellness analysis – including functional blood chemistry.
Based on the research of Dr. Datis Kharrazian, one of the top nutritional clinicians in the country1, the Functional Blood Chemistry analysis enables us to spot patterns that can indicate a myriad of health conditions and gain insight into managing them. What that means for our patients is the ability to rule out a number of possible issues such as; toxicity challenges, vitamin deficiencies, insulin resistance, inflammation, anemia, and other problems not often visible during a physical exam.
There is no general screening test like our Functional Blood Testing panel that is more efficient, effective and affordable. A comprehensive blood chemistry panel will allow us to quickly assess the degree of health or disease in a patient. It is the ultimate tool in biomedical laboratory sciences to evaluate new patients. It also allows us to establish a baseline of biomarkers that can be used to track the patient’s health immediately and over a period of time.
So if you are not getting relief from your pain and discomfort, and regular chiropractic care has not identified the root causes, come in for a complete evaluation and let Chattanooga Integrated Medicine Center get you started on the road to pain-free success!
